ALBERT WATSON
He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1942.
Portraitist and fashion photographer, his favourite subjects are film and rock stars: he shot
the most famous portraits of Mick Jagger, Alfred Hitchcock, David Bowie, Kate Moss, Jack Nicholson,
Marilyn Manson and many others.
His vast output, featuring different styles and techniques, also includes landscapes and
snapshots of everyday life. He has also shot hundreds of TV adverts and music videos.
Since 1976, he has lived and worked in the United States.
