A delicious coffee that hails from Naples, this recipe is known in Italian as Caffè Napoletano. From the first sip, several contrasts are unveiled: hot and cold, sweet and intense, coffee and hazelnut.
This coffee was originally enjoyed by sailors and fisherman in the port of Fano to warm themselves up and stay alert while working. Strong yet sweet, it’s an excellent after-dinner digestive or afternoon pick-me-up.
These ingredients have been used together for a long time, but are now presented a little more innovatively. The contrasting temperatures are designed to perfectly enhance the flavours of the ingredients.
