There are people who take years to find their way. Others, by contrast, seem to know what their destiny is from a very young age. Joseph Anthony Lawrence, better known as Joey L., is one such person.
He picked up his father’s compact digital camera at the age of ten, and what started as a bit of a game eventually became his life’s great passion: photography.
Today Joey L. is 26, owns a photographic studio in Brooklyn and is the eye behind the pictures in the 2016 Lavazza Calendar “From Father to Son”.
A photo reportage that compares the old and new generations of #EarthDefenders: young growers committed to defending the biodiversity of their land, whilst always respecting traditions.
At the centre of Joey L.’s lens there is a photographic research that makes people and their stories lead characters.
