Lavazza compostable capsules comply with the international standard EN 13432, as their certification by TÜV Austria — an internationally recognised and independent organisation — shows. These coffee capsules do not remain in the environment after use. Instead, if processed correctly, they will biodegrade in 180 days to become compost.
